This is a video I made in October 2011 during a workshop with professor Vincenzo Gioanola at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Turin. In this 10 hours workshop each one of us painted from 4 to 6 movies. Each movie lasts from 25 to50 fps and was drawn directly on 35mm film using different kind of markers or skratching the film with sharpened objects. We couldn't see the result of those animations until the professor shared with us this wonderful video on Youtube: he provided to scan the whole film with a special scanning device and edited the entire movie with cutting and audio.
